The Erzgebirge Palace has added the small family owned workshp Baumann.  The Baumann company has specialized in Candle Arches / Schwibbogen and Christmas Pyramids. Lovers of fretsaw works will be particularly impressed by the Baumann items. All together we have added 120 items made by Baumann. This includes about 40 Christmas Pyramids and 30 Lightarches / Schwibbogen. The exclusive Christmas Pyramids can be individually configured with different figurine sets. The figurine sets are available with Nativity figurines, Forest figurines and Miner figurines.

We have added the new spring 2008 incense smokermen by Müller Kleinkunst. Müller has created 10 new and modern clown incense smokers.

the Seiffener Volkskunst has launched about 20 new incense smokers with their favorite Ball-Figure design. We have added the funny new smokers.  Also we have added 3 new classical Seiffener Volkskunst nutcrackers.

We have added the new 2008 spring edition by KWO Olbernhau. KWO will most likely launch more new designs during the year 2008. Among the approx. 30 new items are many incense smokers and nutcrackers in various desgns. The highlight is the new handmade Horse & Carriage with an Edge stool smoker as coachman. The Horse & Carriage will be individually made after an order.  One look at this item shows how capable the KWO workshop is.

We have added the new 2008 Christian Ulbricht editions. Most of the new nutcrackers and incense smokers we have allready seen at the popular Ambiente fair in Frankfurt. We are very confident that the new Ulbricht nutcrackers and smokers will be even more succesfull than the models of the past. In total Ulbricht has added about 100 new models to his range. About 50 nutcrackers and 50 smokermen. The nutcrackers show the very succesful basic design elements of the 2006 and 2007 editions and also show how much detail Original Erzgebirge nutcrackers have. Many of the new incense smokers expand the succesfull Gnome series that started in 2006. The Ulbricht Gnome series smokers are among the most popular items from the Erzgebirge.

We have added all the new Steinbach 2008 nutcrackers and incense smokermen. Steinbach has created 15 new nutcrackers and 3 new incense smokers fro 2008. Many collectors have allready been waiting for them.

We have added the manufacturer Holzkunst Gahlenz to the Erzgebirge Palace. Holzkunst Gahlenz offers the complete variety of Volkskunst from the Erzgebirge with smokermen, nutcrackers, music boxes and schwibbogen candle arcs. Gahlenz is one of the few Erzgebirge workshops that offers nutcrackers and smokermen with sizes up to 2 meters (over 7 feet).

50 new designs by Müller Kleinkunst have been added. New nutcrackers, smokermen, candle arches and christmas pyramids designed in 2007. Also brand new are the tealight candle holders for Müller pyramids that make it possible to use tealights in all Müller pyramids.

We have added a new manufacturer from the city of Seiffen. Theo Lorenz is a small and exclusive family owned company with a tradition of more than 100 years. Great love of detail and small prodction quantities make Theo Lorenz a very special worksop of the Erzgebirge. We have added over 50 items. Among them are Christmas pyramids, candle arches, music boxes and nativity sets.

The latest models that have been introduced on the fall exhibitions have been added to the Erzgebirge Palace. This includes 5 new incense smokers by Christian Ulbricht. Ulbricht extended his range of Gnomes this fall. KWO Olbernhau features 14 brand new smokermen. Most of them are edge stool sitting figures. The highlight is definitely the Snow White series which includes Snow White and all 7 Dwarfs. In our opinion those Dwarfs look wonderful.

The Erzgebirge manufacturers presented many new models and designs on the German summer arts & crafts exhibitions around the country. Among them Müller Kleinkunst, Christian Ulbricht, Richard Glässer and KWO Olbernhau. KWO introduced a number of new incense smokermen like the Strickliesel, a fairy tale aunt, snowwhite and three funny dwarfs called Wurzel, Purzel and Brummel. Müller Kleinkunst presented wonderful new incense smokers, Christmas pyramids and candle arches (Schwibbogen). Our impression was that the Erzgebirge manufacturers have designed many new high quality items that will be loved every around the world.

We have added the 2007 KWO Editions. 15 new incense smokers models and 15 new nutcrackers are now available. The brand new KWO Wedding Horse & Carriage is one of the most fascinating gifts from the Erzgebirge.

We have added the new models by Erzgebirge Nussknackerhaus Christian Ulbricht. The new 2007 models include 35 nutcrackers and 65 German smokermen. There are some really beautiful ones among them.

Herr Christian Steinbach, for many people around the world the nutcracker king himself, passed away in late February 2007. We will miss him.

KWO Olbernhau has designed a very special Collection for Erzgebirge enthusiasts. The new Design collection 2007 includes Ayurveda incense cones (burners) and very exclusive Desk set. This design is something very new by an Erzgebirge workshop.

The new models of Christian Ulbricht, KWO Olbernhau, Richard Glässer and Seiffener Volkskunst are out. Altogether we expect about 100 new nutcrackers and incense smokermen. Also some new candle arches and Christmas pyramids have been presented by the workshops. We will add those items as the year progresses.
